You need the mindset of a job seeker, and you have to believe that you can successfully navigate a job or career change if you want to be successful.Once you have developed the proper mindset, then you need to do research about the type of job you are interested in along with doing research on the companies and the industry. You don't want to switch to an industry that may be on a downward trend, for sure.You will also need to create a marketing plan for yourself. This is a document that contains all your skills and competencies. Make a list of everything you might bring to a potential job or career that you are interested in.
