The arrangement provides the U.S. strategic military access in the Pacific and allows FAS citizens to live/work in the U.S., with financial assistance provisions recently extended, solidifying a close, unique partnership.  Clay points out one of the most underreported accomplishments of Trump’s second term: a historic drop in violent crime nationwide.
