Teen Scammer Sold Fake One Piece Cards

A 21-year-old Marylander, Joel Brown, is wanted for allegedly swindling a card-flipping victim out of $15,000 with fake “One Piece” trading cards. The scam unfolded on Facebook Marketplace, where Brown, using the alias Eric Mercado, met the buyer for a cash exchange — only for the victim to later discover the cards were counterfeit.
