Spice week is new for GBBO contestants, and it kicks off with a ginger cake signature.Lisa and Allison discuss the state of the competition as two bakers are up for elimination.  The girls discuss the meaning behind bonfire cakes and the holiday they commemorate,  as well as lament the absence of ginger in American baking.The biscuit chandelier showstopper is once again discussed as a JTS (jump the shark) moment that proves to be structurally stressful at best. The girls announce star baker, and the two eliminated this week.
