Introducing That's Lifeview Podcast! Aged care residents living at Lifeview in Melbourne join host Cody Winnell for a cheeky, unfiltered, rollicking chat about their lives, dreams, hobbies and living in aged care. This show will appeal to anyone interested in hearing from aged care residents, who are only too willing to share their amazing and often heart-warming backstories. It may change the way you view ageing, and your notions of residential aged care living. We created this podcast to tell residents’ stories. Every person living in aged care has a story – but they’re not told often enough. We wanted to give residents a voice and a platform to chat, have some fun, and speak their mind. This is what we’re about at Lifeview – supporting residents to live their best every day. When aged care is done well it should not be seen as “the end” of one’s journey; rather, the start of a fresh, exciting chapter, where people can experience new things, meet new people, improve their health and wellbeing, and, importantly, have their voices amplified. We’ll learn lots as we move along this podcast journey. We’ll hear from a range of aged care residents, all with unique backgrounds and lived experiences.
