Summary
In this episode, Harriet is joined by registered dietitians Isabella (better known as Isa) Robinson and Katherine Kimber, both of whom are specialists in intuitive eating. We explore the evidence behind intuitive eating, if weight loss can go together with intuitive eating and where to go to learn more about this topic. I hope you find this a really interesting episode and discussion. Isa Robinson is registered associate nutritionist, Nutritional Therapist and certified Intuitive eating counsellor. Isa completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Edinburgh and went onto do her masters in eating disorders and Clinical Nutrition at University College London. Isa has undertaken training in body image, intuitive eating and nutritional psychiatry. Her recent research on the impacts of Eating disorders on caregivers was published in the European Eating Disorders Review in September 2020. Isa is an ambassador for the charity BEAT and also partners with schools. She works in private practice, and her approach fuses evidence-based nutrition science with psychological modalities to help individuals feel empowered around food. Katherine is a Registered Dietitian and Founder of Nude Nutrition on a mission to help people to find food happiness! Katherine offers 1:1 coaching, runs a community and group courses to help people break out of a negative relationship with food. Katherine has completed an extensive amount of formal education and training with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London, and a distinction in her Masters in Clinical Research.
