Sermon: The Biggest Lie Part 1 Mainland  Sermon by: Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo The original intent of this series is to teach us seven things that God says is holy. The meaning of holiness isn’t that we are meant to be without flaw, but that we are sanctified and kept aside for the special use for the purpose of the master. What makes us holy is in not getting contaminated by the things that contaminate the people of the world. 1. The Sabbath Day: Exodus 20:811 God has given us 7 days but He doesn’t expect us to use up all, on what we like. God himself rested on the 7th day to teach us the principle of the sabbath, that even though we can work - we shouldn’t.  We can’t work continuously, we must take out time for prayer, communion, fellowship, meditation etc with God.   We must stop consuming our time at work and God’s time at work also. Anytime we do that, we are believing satan and eating that which God has asked us not to. Matthew 4:4 - As human, we aren’t designed to be sustained by bread (money) alone, but by what God tells us every day when we spend time with Him. Man is not designed to live by natural sustenance alone but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. There is no useless life, there are only disconnected lives.  Many of us are broke because we don’t have a word from God yet. We must constantly receive a word from God and this can only happen when we spend time with Him. Prosperity for us as believers isn’t always based on accumulation of material things. Exodus 16:4-5 - You will not miss anything by being in church, but anything you use God’s time to make, you will eventually lose it.

Sermon: The Biggest Lie Part 1 Mainland

Sermon by: Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo

The original intent of this series is to teach us seven things that God says is holy.

The meaning of holiness isn’t that we are meant to be without flaw, but that we are sanctified and kept aside for the special use for the purpose of the master.

What makes us holy is in not getting contaminated by the things that contaminate the people of the world.

1. The Sabbath Day: Exodus 20:811

God has given us 7 days but He doesn’t expect us to use up all, on what we like.

Truth Encounter: The Last Week - Rejected in Jerusalem Podcast After hard frosts and heavy snows, finally March Madness begins. It brings not only the best show in basketball, but Easter lilies in Wal-Mart and beautiful new dresses on racks for moms to buy for their little girls. It’s the triumph of warmth over cold, of tulip blossoms over ugly bulbs, but most of all it’s the time when more than 2 billion Christians across the globe look back to the events of Passion Week, the Last Week, the time when Jesus was rejected in Jerusalem. . His Last Week on earth began with shouts, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” It ended with “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” How could this week in a land hardly the size of New Jersey where a peasant was crucified like thousands of other Jews by the Romans be the climax of all of history?
