Alexa Caves joins us on todays episode to dive deep into a topic that is so personal to both of our experiences. Growing up Bi-racial. In this episode we go into growing up biracial and being shaped by both of our ethnic backgrounds. Me a Nigerian American, and Alexa growing up Black American. We discuss that the black experience isn't linear and that growing up "black" means so much more than what we see on television, or hear in our music. Every person has such an individual experience from culture, to hair, to habits, to geographical location.
