With some national standards to be a pharmacy technicians, we discuss what it takes to practice in Canada as a whole, as well as specific provincial requirements in Ontario. With a single payer national healthcare system, they compare and contrast the benefits and struggles of both the US and Canadian healthcare systems with regard to remuneration for services as scope of practice expands.
