It’s Christmas time! This week the pastors discuss readings for Christmas eve, and Christmas Day from Luke and Mathew. Luke 2: 10-11 “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.” At the center is the miracle of Jesus, God choosing to come as one of us is the greatest joy and biggest glory we can imagine. In Mathew, God’s ongoing revelation through an angel in a dream, shows that God continues to be active in history and in our lives. This story has more of the wonder and mystery of dreams and angels. We remember the many ways God works and speaks in this world.
