The Chaos of Reality

from SEX ED FOR YOU: Where Research Meets Reality · host Lauren and Holland

This episode is truly all over the place. We start off with a bang, talking about my most recent experience with my queerness and exploring what it means to me, and why labels feel relatively daunting. Then, we talk about Jennifer Aniston’s scene from “He’s Just Not That Into You,” where the person she’s been partnered with for years refuses to marry her, and we dive into all the facets of life that are quite literally just made up by humans– the government, money, and time. We talk about the nuances of these institutions and how they affect our lives. As both Lauren and I just finished watching our favorite reality TV love shows, Couple to Throuple and Love is Blind, respectively, we touch on the power of knowledge and permission (also, did you know Lauren was on a reality TV show??). Then, at the end of the episode, I tacked on a short 15 minute clip that we filmed last week after a chaotic day of filming.  Love always!!!
