The Democrat plan to free Carlos Brown Jr is underway

from The Tara Show

On The Tara Show, this segment critiques what it describes as a deliberate push by liberal judicial figures to secure the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., the man accused of the brutal 2025 stabbing of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte light rail train. Critics argue that recent motions to declare Brown "incapable to proceed" due to mental incompetence serve as a strategic delay to avoid the death penalty and eventually move him out of the traditional criminal justice system. The discussion highlights how "soft-on-crime" policies and cashless bail previously allowed Brown to remain on the streets despite 14 prior arrests, fueling the narrative that current Democratic-backed agendas are prioritizing the rights of violent offenders over public safety.

00:01 Well, the Democrat plan to free Decarlis Brown. 00:08 Despite that nasty little bit there with Rina Siritska dying in front of the whole world with her throat slit is underway. I know this system well. I covered it as a reporter. Those of you who've followed me here from Charlotte know the term I used for years misdemeanor homicide. That's the first homicides never really a big deal in the Charlotte court system. It's been that way for years, but it's worse now. Misdemeanor homicide. Yeah. 00:37 which always followed what I called the felony freebie. You always get the first felony first. They're cold. In DeCarlos Brown's case, he got like the first 18 felonies free, but you know, Democrats. yeah. So here's how this starts. DeCarlos Brown to the shock of the world, it's a top 10 news story in the world, has been found, on our app that we have to track that, has been found incapable to proceed. 01:07 He's been struck mentally dumb, doesn't know what he did. Poor baby. 01:13 What does this mean? Well, under NC statutes, if DeCarlos Brown is incapable because of mental illness or defect of understanding the nature of the charges against him or uh objected the proceedings against him, well, by gosh, he can't be tried. 01:37 and the charges have to be dismissed. So this system, you gotta understand, I'm very familiar with it, is extremely liberal. The report came from Central Regional Hospital. It's a state psychiatric facility staffed by Wokes. They reached this conclusion after evaluating Brown. He could not possibly have known what he did. It would be so impossible. Poor guy. 02:04 Huh. Didn't know what he did? You sure about that? Cause here's the video with the audio. Here's what he says as she lays dying clutching her throat. I got the white girl. And then just for extra clarity he repeats, I got the white girl. 02:34 sure seemed like a racially motivating factor there. Does he sound crazy to you there? 02:39 Now you can have a mental illness, many people do and know perfectly well what you're doing. And he did. Anyone who hears that, got the white girl, I got the white girl, he sounds like he just scored a touchdown. 02:55 And he's just watching her die, looking at her so he knows what he did. He knows he got her, he killed her. Sounds like he did it because she was white. That's motive. See, if you're mentally ill, you don't have motive, you don't know what you did, but he did. See, it's all right there. 03:11 But you gotta understand that central, whenever I see central regional, I used to see central regional on a court file in Charlotte as a court reporter, cover crime. I'd be like, central regional hospital essentially exists, staffed by libs to get everybody off the hook and they work with the liberal judges. So this is the first step in getting DeCarlos Brown out of prison and out of what he did. Now here's how this has to work. A Mecklenburg County Superior Court Judge 03:41 must still formally rule on it at a capacity hearing, but he will, they're all liberals. Then by law, the state murder charge has to be dismissed. If they dismiss it without prejudice, and every step of this is fraught with danger because you're talking about woke here every step of the way, left woke, then the state can reinstate it. But if not, then he walks. um In the meantime, 04:11 We're all safe because the Trump administration is babysitting. They have swept in and they put federal charges on them so they can hold them, which is what you have to do. Cause I mean, you don't know when he's going to let him go. You just, don't know. So you had to babysit to Carlos Brown while they try to free him. And that's what this is about. So for right now, he's in a federal holding and we'll see. Is it possible he could go free? Yes. 04:41 That's if both state and federal cases are dismissed. The problem is once you have a finding from anybody that he's incompetent to stand trial, um and they've already got one a ...
