The Empty Exhaustion of Worry
from FRCP Sunday Morning Sermons
In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus provides the logical consequence of making God our Master, rather than money: no need to worry. If God is truly our provider and sustainer, and he loves and values us, then we will be taken care of. This requires faith, though! We won't get everything we want, but if we prioritize the kingdom of heaven and God's righteousness, Jesus says we will get our basic needs met plus eternal life.
