But Jesus knows better. He doesn’t leave us alone in our lostness. He relentlessly seeks us. He involves the rest of the Christian community in this seeking the lost and rejoicing over the found. Those who know they were lost and were found by Jesus will share his love for the lost and his zeal in seeking them. They will share also in his joy in finding them.
