Here is a familiar fable. You freed a Genie from a Bottle and he gave you a choice as a reward. He asked you to choose wisely. The choices: Have absolute power or Have infinite wealth? . . . . . If it's you, what would you choose? If you were to poll a random room of people, Money would likely be the overwhelming winner. You likely want the freedom to control your own Tuesday afternoon (which money provides) rather than the responsibility of controlling others' lives (which power requires).The most coveted area in the Wheel of life which is foundational to the quality of life we strive for after health is our money and finance. In business, career and personal life settings, money and finance governs our self esteem, our self worth, our achievement and our growth mode. We connect success to having money and strong finances more than having power. While money and finance is not a true measure of true happiness, it is a means to the desired outcome. Money and finance if managed well, will have a more protracted value in time compared to power that in may potentially diminish with age and circumstances.Additionally, money allows us to preserve our family's future (education for our children, care for aging parents.) It ensures that your influence on the world doesn’t stop the moment you stop working.
