Listener discretion is advised!  Welcome to YOUR Korean podcast drama!  Dearest Sarangees, it's time for our fifth Drama Chase — The Glory — and we've officially entered our dark drama era. This is a gritty, somber drama packed with complex characters and rich storylines full of revenge and darkness. In the first episode, we meet our morose protagonist, Moon Dong-eun, who is setting up a war room in a small apartment in Semyeong. We discover that when she was in high school, she was brutally burned by a gang of bullies led by Park Yeon-jin — and the adults in her life completely failed to protect her. She decides to fight back with a meticulously planned, decade-long revenge scheme aimed at ruining the lives of the bullies, her teacher, and her mother. For our segment, we deep dive into the real-life incident that inspired the show and the very real issue of school bullying in Korea. Buckle up, y’all!
