Sermon Title: The Gospel

Main Scripture: Galatians 1:11 (NLT)

“Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning.”

The word gospel—from the Greek euangelion—means good news. But this news didn’t come from man’s mind; it was revealed by God Himself. And what is this good news?

It’s not just that Jesus died—it’s that He rose again!

This is not emotion. This is the Gospel in action.

Here’s the G.O.S.P.E.L. in six truths:

G – God’s

In the beginning was the Word—Jesus was with God and was God (John 1:1). He created all things.

O – Only Son

God gave His only Son for the world, not to condemn it, but to save it (John 3:16–17).

S – Sacrifice & Proof

Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice. His resurrection proved He defeated sin and death.

P – Paid the Price

Jesus paid what we couldn’t. Our sins were nailed to that cross with Him.

E – Everlasting Love

Even when the world runs cold, His love never fades. Christ loved us even when we didn’t love Him.

L – Love & Forgiveness

“If You kept a record of sin, who could stand? But You forgive” (Psalm 130:3–4).

The Gospel is our hope. It’s not just a story—it’s a lifeline.
