"The Greatest Grind" - Texas A&M Football Chaplain Mikado Hinson

from Sports Spectrum's Inside the Chapel · host Sports Spectrum

Mikado Hinson serves as the chaplain for the Texas A&M football team, and this week on "Inside the Chapel" he brings a message about the final hours that Jesus spent before heading to the cross. The main theme of his message is that regardless of what you're going through, always stay connected to God. Just as Jesus did in the Garden of the Gethsemane, even in the face of death, he clinged to God. Recorded following fall camp, Hinson urges his players to do the same, and to find some close friends — some "real ones" as he calls it — who can walk that journey with them and hold them accountable. "Inside the Chapel" is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network. If you enjoyed this episode, we know you'll enjoy these as well: — Texas State FCA Director Pat Ford on ‘Daniel in the Lions Den’ — Halifax Mooseheads chaplain Andrew Pepper on ‘Our Heavenly Prize’ — Rutgers chaplain Tyler Stowell on worth – ‘Am I Good Enough?’
