This is a very special GLOBAL Episode 23 as we have our first ever INTERNATIONAL Guest - Welcome Tommy Walker. Tommy is a; Foreign Reporter in the Southeast Asia Podcast Host at Dateline Bangkok VP at Foreign Correspondents Club of Thailand ......and also a massive Boro fan...... He is very active on social media and on the ground in South East Asia – building and mobilising a growing Boro fan base of ex-pats and locals. He is currently involved in the Middlesbrough Supporters Clubs in Thailand, Honk Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai & China, but this is NOT an episode about Boro as a club or even Boro as a fanbase. We have entitled this episode "Supporting Your Club & Rallying Others From Abroad" and it offers a fascinating insight into how to build a local, regional and in Tommy's case, a continental group of like-minded passionate fans who happen to live and work around the globe rather than in the UK - mobilising them so that collectively, everyone can better enjoy a matchday and supporter experience in wherever they may be living, working, or even just passing through.
