I asked him to address the question, “what is the hardest thing about doing hard things?”. He gave me an answer I thought was interesting in regard to the mental capability to do hard things. One of them is to admit to yourself that you are going to fail. It doesn't mean that you fail at everything. You go through a series of failures until you get to successes. Wade and I also talked about world events. And this was surprising to me. A lot of corporate people won't do this. Wade is very successful at Bioptimizers. But he and I talked about the state of the world after this assassination attempt on President Trump.
