Lockwood was an American lawyer, political writer, and novelist, who wrote two fantasy novels about Wilhelm Heinrich Sebastian von Troomp - referred to as Little Baron Trump, and his dog Bulger. In 1896 Lockwood published a book called 1900 or The Last President. It starts in New York City on November 3, 1896, with an announcement of the newly-elected president.Strangely, he is an outsider candidate said to represent the “common man,” amid claims he will liberate the people from the bankers - an anti-establishment candidate as Mr Trump was billed as being.
