But beneath it was years of alienation, bullying, and the quiet sense of not belonging. After years of feeling out of place and unseen, a chance encounter with psychedelics cracks open a different way of experiencing life. One circus show later, Phoenix walked away from the expected life to become a circus monk and pursue their dreams as a performance artist. Today, they are a Berlin-based performer, director, and co-founder of Phantazonia Collective—building a life that trades certainty for expression, and structure for something far more alive.
