Bob Doppelt has organized and currently coordinates the Transformational Resiliency Coalition (ITRC). Bob's work has helped organizations develop externally-focused climate adaptation plans. The ITRC is now led by a national steering committee composed of 20-plus leaders representing major resiliency, health, faith, and other organizations, as well as local steering committees in different parts of the U.S. The ITRC now has partners in the mental health, resilience, climate, disaster response, faith, and other professionals working to build psychological and psychosocial resilience for the traumas and toxic stresses generated by climate change in Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other nations worldwide. Bob will discuss the urgency of creating innovative responses to meet the climate emergency now facing the world. He will illuminate his thoughts on how to mobilize communities to meet this international emergency.
