The Indigo League of Extraordinary Pokemon

Hello friends! It's the final week of the Indigo League episodes and we get to explore Graham's favourite Shonen trope: the power of friendship. To finish up the season we are reviewing Ep. 80, "A Friend In Deed", Ep. 81, "Friend and Foe Alike", and Ep. 82, "Friends to the End". These episodes feature an alternative Ash from the shadow dimension named Ritchie whose Pikachu is only distinguished from our hero Pikachu by a protruding cowlick of hair. It is exactly like when an evil Spok showed up in Star Trek with a goatee. Exactly like that. These episodes are a lot of fun and they let us see Ash go through a whole new character arc as he comes to terms with what success means and how to face the challenges along the way.
