In order to deal with the moral confusion in contemporary society, we must emphasize the need to be able to discern between good and evil. Our modern culture is increasingly upside down in this matter. "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20) Other passages warn against justifying the wicked and condemning the righteous. Cain and Abel show us that the wicked have hated the righteous since the beginning - enough to murder them. They murdered the prophets, they murdered Jesus, and the Apostles, and the martyrs, and they still do it today, as we have witnessed this week. The battle is spiritual, not political, and not carnal. We MUST return to biblical standards of righteousness! Stand firm in the faith and recognize that true change begins with individual commitment to God's word and the courage to reject worldly influences.
Battling in Spiritual Warfare Tristan Ritchie I try and learn about the bible and I share what i learn with others. Spiritually Prepared Warriors Prepared Warriors Welcome to Prepared Warriors. We Spiritually Prepare for Life & Eternity. We actively employ the armor of God and the spiritual weapons of our warfare - the Word, Worship, and Prayer. God gives us truth and peace. So, we keep coming back to God to fill us up and send us out! He anointed us to defend ourselves, our families, and our territories. There’s no retreat, no surrender and we NEVER GIVE UP! “…If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)God, your word says, “… the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13) So, we ask you, Lord, prepare us for the spiritual warfare in the days to come. Amen. Four Streams John Eldredge If you look at the ways in which Christ engages others, you’ll notice he offers his life in the areas covered in this 4-part teaching on the Four Streams: Discipleship (Walking with God), Warfare (Spiritual Warfare), Counseling (Receiving God’s Intimate Counsel), and Healing (Deep Restoration). Christ wants to do more for us than simply forgive. He wants to restore us. Look at the miracles He did: The blind saw, the lame walked, the dead were raised to life. Through these miraculous stories, Christ was trying to show us something. Look! This is what I want to do for you! I want to restore you. Listen to this life changing message as John teaches on each stream, as well as providing practical application.
