They are homeschooling moms and understand the daily struggle to find time for spiritual activities amid the demands of housework, schoolwork, and the rest. They strive to live in sync with the church calendar but it is difficult to juggle information from Scripture, the Synaxarion, prayer books, and the liturgical calendar. To solve this problem they created Parousia Press, which creates organizing tools and homeschooling resources that keep Christ, Scripture, saints, feasts, and fasting before us every day. Their aim is to create tools that unite our spiritual lives with our daily lives. Max Harwood attends Holy Nativity Orthodox Church in Langley, BC, Canada. He has an Undergrad in Biblical Studies (Columbia Bible College) and a Masters in Theology (Orthodox School of Theology, University of Toronto).
