The Living Word #122: Romans 8:26

There are times when we know we need to talk with God but either we don't know what we should say or we just don't have the words to express what it is we are feeling. For precisely those times God has provided us with a spiritual Counselor, and in today's verse, Romans 8:26 from the NJKV, we are reminded of His presence: Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. This is a good verse to remember when we feel like we need to be eloquent, or even coherent, when we come before God in prayer. God bless you!
