The Longing That Turns Us Home - Paul Mumaw - Genesis Church

Every one of us, at some point, has found ourselves far from God—some in obvious ways through rebellion or running, and others more quietly as our hearts drift through pride, performance, or self-reliance. In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of two lost sons and one loving Father who refuses to give up on either of them, and through this five-week journey, our hope is that each of us will find ourselves in the story and discover that no matter how we get lost, there is always a way back to God. This is a season of awakening, where those far from God can come home for the first time and long-time believers can rediscover the Father’s heart of grace, forgiveness, and celebration, all centered on a Father who sees us, runs to us, and welcomes us with open arms.
