Send us Fan MailThe Love Prayer “We have to give from a full heart, one that is saturated with love, overflowing to others. Before we can give freely, we have to know that we are loved.” -Mother Teresa It’s been said many times by many people that it’s not possible to pour from an empty vessel. It’s just not possible to freely give and fully love until we ourselves know that we are fully loved. There’s a prayer in Ephesians that from this point forward, I’m going to call the love prayer. I invite you to join me in it:“I pray that out of God’s glorious riches you are strengthen with power through God’s Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.We pray this together in the name of the one who creates sustains and redeems.
