The March of the Four Horsemen

The drama plays out in two theaters—heaven and earth. In heaven, Jesus holds in His hands the title deed of the earth, which was pictured in chapter 5 as a seven-sealed scroll. With each seal that is loosed by the Lord Jesus a corresponding judgment on the earth is unleashed. Rev. 6 describes the beginning of the Tribulation period as the first six seals are broken and carnage fills the earth.
