The Mighty Name Of Jesus | Part 1: The Name Above All Names

Every believer has been blessed with the wonderful privilege to call upon, speak and use the mighty name of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus and believers in the Early Church understood the authority that was at their disposal through the use of the name of Jesus, and they walked in it. This sermon series will help the believer re-discover the power of the name of Jesus and teaches how to walk in the power of that name in everyday life. We can walk in authority and dominion, in perfect peace and in all of God's provision when we learn to walk in the power of the name of Jesus. The Name above all names. A Name given to Him by the Father at birth. The name Jesus was the name that God chose and gave to identify the unique incarnate Son of God. When we mention the name 'Jesus' and declare Him as Savior, He not only saves from sin, but in that name there is salvation, preservation, protection, healing, deliverance, victory, freedom and wholeness. God the Eternal Word, through whom the worlds were made and who upholds all things by His powerful word, chose to become the Incarnate Word and walked as the Son of God. As the Son of God, He was God speaking to us. He was the display of the glory of the Father and the exact representation of the Father. As the Son of God, He provided for the cleansing of all our sins, was raised up and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, exalted far above all the angels. It is this Son of God who was appointed heir of all things and He by inheritance has obtained a name that is far greater, more wonderful, infinitely superior and much higher name than any other. All of God's Kingdom stands behind the name of Jesus. All who God is, all His splendor, glory, dominion, and power is behind the name of Jesus. God the Father has determined, decreed and declared that at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in all three realms. Every created being in heaven, earth and hell will submit to Him, reverence Him and every tongue will acknowledge His Lordship, recognizing Him as King. The name of Jesus is above all names.
