Using the name of Jesus is not a good luck charm, a magical phrase like "open sesame", or an incantation, a ritual or spiritual tradition that is used as a means to have good things happen. Just speaking that name as vain repetition, in a meaningless way will not empower us to see what the Lord has promised. In order to speak that name in an effective way we must believe in the Person Jesus and believe in the authority of His name. In this sermon, we will do a quick review of what we covered in the series so far and we will discuss what it means to believe in the name of Jesus and as believers how we must understand and walk in the mandate the Lord has laid upon us when He authorized us to use His name and sent us out in His name.
