The Nags Charity Barbarians: Power Of The Nags

from Roots Ruck Riot · host Podcasts Nobody Asked For

This week we are joined by Ed Birch from The Nags Charity Barbarians. I am fairly sure they are the sole rugby club to be founded while a group of men pulled a canal boat the length of a marathon, I haven't researched that but I think it's a safe bet. The Nags are a fantastic team who play rugby and undertake various challenges to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This year they are heading to Tewkesbury Rugby Club for a weekend of rugby on the 10th and 11th of May, we would strongly recommend heading down for what is sure to be a brilliant time. We talk all things Nags, challenges and £200,000+ they have already raised. The Nags Charity BarbariansInstagram - @nagscharitybarbariansFacebook - The Nags Charity BarbariansWebsite - www.nagsrugby.co.ukDonation Page - fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/nags2024Roots Ruck RiotDonation Page - fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/nags2024Donation Page - fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/nags2024If you would like your club featured please email us at [email protected] leave us a review wherever you listen to your podcasts, it helps us grow the show and continues us shining a light on the game we all love.Donation Page - fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/nags2024

Chinook Realm Religion and crime collide when a gruesome murder rocks the isolated community of Chinook, Montana. Local Deputy Ruth Vogel thought she was answering a routine animal control call, only to find a mangled corpse on the frozen embankment. Her small town is whipped into a frenzy and everyone is quick to point their fingers at a drug-addicted teenager, but Ruth suspects connections to a powerful religious group. Enter Agent Loro, an enigmatic FBI investigator tracking an evangelical cult that may have roots right here in Chinook. Loro and Ruth form a cautious partnership to find the killer—but as the mystery winds through Ruth’s life, her family, and her church, she’ll discover something more sinister than murder is afoot.Binge all episodes of Chinook exclusively and ad-free by joining Wondery+ in the Wondery App, Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
