Today, Thursday October 8 - Prayer is indeed a privilege but also a responsibility for all of us.  It is the prayer of faith that calls on the name of the Lord Jesus to save us that brings His great salvation into our lives.  It is believing prayer that opens up the windows of the resources of heaven to meet every need in our lives.  It is prayer that brings us into the presence of God and allows us to commune with His as with a friend!  It is prayer that brings deliverance into our lives against our adversary.  Luke 18:1-8 is a parable Jesus gave to His followers to help them understand the necessity of praying to our Heavenly Father, who is ready as a just judge, to give us victory over the adversary who has come into our lives, "to steal, kill and destroy." (John 10:10)  The Apostle Peter would later warn us to "be sober, be vigilant, because our adversary, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, seeking to deceive, to destroy, to devour whom he may." (1 Peter 5:8) Today, call on the name of our Lord! He is waiting and ready to protect and provide all you need for your journey in life today!  God bless!
