Riker forms a relationship with Soren, a member of the J'Naii who eschews all that silly androgenous stuff. Soren wants to get it on with Riker, as they mount a rescue mission into null space. But their love is not to be, for despite Soren's entreaties in court, she's taken away for treatment a.k.a. conversion therapy.
