The Pat & Aaron Show: 2/20/23

The first break of The Pat & Aaron Show went great! The show stars Pat Donovan and Chris Mathis (in for a vacationing Aaron Jacobson.) They talk about how nice the new studio is, and how exciting the new era is. Then they recap Tampa Bay Rays fan fest, and meeting Terry the Veteran at the event. When Chris Mathis went back to the Gandy building real quick, he grabbed a bat and smashed the Dave Wills and Andy Freed bobble heads that had Pat & Aaron's face on it. Then the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines. The 7:00 AM hour begins with a discussion about the latest going on with the new MLB rules, and how that includes the Tampa Bay Rays. Then St. Louis Battlehawks head coach Anthony Becht calls into The Pat & Aaron Show to talk to Pat Donovan & Chris Mathis (filling in for Aaron Jacobson) about their comeback win! They first begin by talking about how important it was that the team had their comeback, and that they never gave up. He explains that A.J. McCarron is a great leader, and has earned his shot. Anthony also talks about how great the fans in St. Louis are, what they need to do to keep the energy up, and more! Then the 7:00 AM hour ends with Things I Like. The 8:00 AM hour begins by continuing the discussion on the new MLB rules and what it means for the future of the sport. Then they discuss the idea of getting rid of the lead off, speeding up the game, and more! Then the hour ends with The Blender and wrapping it up!
