The Pat & Aaron Show: 3/1/23

The Pat & Aaron Show begins by talking about Tyler Glasnow being out 6-8 weeks, and Aaron is still devastated over it. Pat says it could definitely be worse and that the Tampa Bay Rays can still make it happen to begin the series. The guys also break down the Bolts loss at home and that nothing went right for them. Then the guys talked about Today's Top Headlines with headlines from Barstool Sports, ESPN, USA Today, and Tampa Bay Times. The hour ends with audio from Rock Riley with Todd Bowles!  The 7:00 AM hour begins by discussing all the topics from the show so far! Those included Tyler Glasnow, Tampa Bay Lightning, and how to giveaway Jelly Roll tickets. Then the guys play audio from Trevor Sikkema where he asks Jason Licht if there was ever more than a zero percent chance of Rob Gronkowski ever returning last year. In the clip, Jason Licht talks about having Gronk in his backyard and Aaron thinks that he couldn't close the deal! The guys also talk about the funny video of Tristan Wirfs chugging beer on camera at the Tampa Bay Lightning game. Then the hour ends with Over/Under as Ryan Hoppe reads off this week's bets! The 8:00 AM hour begins with a ticket giveaway for Jelly Roll tickets, and it involved trivia involving Bronson Arroyo! Then the guys continue to break down Tyler Glasnow's injury, and that the pitching rotation is still good. Aaron says there is no reason for Tyler Glasnow to be a closer, and that you are wasting the years of a CY Young candidate! Pat also wonders if he is an optimist and that he doesn't mind having that mindset at all. MLB legend Bronson Arroyo Calls Into The Pat & Aaron Show! He first talks about his band BRONSON ARROYO & THE '04" and how it is different being a Rockstar and a baseball player. He says that he is always focused on entertaining the audience at his shows, compared to when he was a MLB player. He also says that baseball players are very lowkey compared to the life of a Rockstar, and that an MLB locker room usually has a few guys playing video games. Then Bronson Arroyo gave his opinion on the new rules, including the pitch clocks! Then the hour ends with "The Blender!"
