The Pat & Aaron Show: 3/20/23

The Pat & Aaron Show began with a break down of how they are sick of Tampa Bay Lightning double headers. The guys make sure that the phones are working since they were acting funny on the weekend. Pat speaks to an emergency responder and he reflects on the fact that his job is pretty convenient. Then Aaron explains that he had a pretty weekend of betting (allegedly!) The guys break down how awesome their gig was on Friday at Buffalo Wild Wings on South Dale Mabry, and Aaron talks about throwing down money with Jeff The Goon. They explain that when they have an event, that you have to come out. Pat Donovan then explains how beautiful it is that major league baseball is right around the corner. Then the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines. The 7:00 AM hour begins with Aaron Jacobson breaking down this weekend's slate of Tampa Bay Lightning games, and that double headers are often hard for the team. Then Aaron says that he still doesn't get the timing of the World Baseball Classic, right in the middle of spring training! Then the guys talked about Houston star Jose Altuve fracturing his right thumb in Team Venezuela's World Baseball Classic game on Saturday and will need surgery. Then the hour ends with Things I Like! The 8:00 AM hour began by talking about the upcoming Baker Mayfield press conference that afternoon, and they asked the DAE hotline about what they should ask him. Pat & Aaron had a debate, wondering what it would be like if Kyle Trask replaced Baker Mayfield! Then the hour ends with The Blender.
