The Pat & Aaron Show: 3/3/23

from The Pat & Aaron Show

The Pat & Aaron Show begins by breaking down how Aaron Jacobson is going to be attending jury duty and that he has a plan! The guys break down the Tampa Bay Lightning loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Pat says he is still not worried about the team because they will turn it on in the playoffs. Then Aaron says he loves that the New York Knicks are doing good and that he plans to bring his opinions to the airwaves. The guys finish the first segment by talking about the end of an era for Cam Brate and the Buccaneers! Then Zach Eflin pitched an inning and a third yesterday against the Twins, striking out three – Rays now 0-2 on the spring against the Twins in pursuit of the Dukes Knutson Cup, and Pat & Aaron break it down! Then the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines. The 7:00 AM hour began with Pat Donovan discussing the time he wanted to go to jury duty because he hated his old job so much, but that he was just used as an alternative. Then Pat & Nick debate why they are annoyed that sports betting is not legal in Florida. Then the 7 AM hour continues with "Who Said It" with audio from The Pat & Aaron Show, Jay & Z, and Ronnie & TKRAS. Then it's that time of the week, the hour ends with "Friday Flashback." The 8:00 AM hour begins with NFL analyst Carmen Vitlai from Fox Sports covering NFC North calls into The Pat & Aaron Show (with Pat Donovan and Nick Wize filling in for Aaron Jacobson.) She first breaks down why she doesn't think they will trade Justin Fields this year, and will give it one more year. She goes on to give her take on Jalen Carter and that his incident probably won't hurt him in the draft, but that it definitely shows that he doesn't make the best decisions. After that, she explains her take on the future of the NFL Combine and that the Covid-19 era really changed the way people viewed it. The one and only Greg Wyshynski from ESPN calls into The Pat & Aaron Show with Pat Donovan and Nick Wize (filling in for Aaron Jacobson.) He first explains why the Boston Bruins are scarier than ever, and that they need to be taken seriously. Then he says that the Tanner Jeannot trade to the Tampa Bay Lightning is viewed as a great trade, and that he notices that he has a window to win for the Bolts. He knows that he needs to be at his absolute best in order for the Lightning to go far in the playoffs. Then Greg says it's insane that some people say that the Tampa Bay Lightning is not a dynasty, and that they need to be respected. Then the show ends with The Blender.
