The Pat & Aaron Show begins with Pat Donovan & Aaron Jacobson talking about tonight's Boston Bruins & Tampa Bay Lightning. Pat says he is totally cool with the Boston Bruins taking the records from the Tampa Bay Lightning season that everyone wants to forget about (according to Pat.) Aaron disagrees and says that Pat is overthinking it and that it was a weird first take to begin the morning with. Then the guys talk about the extension of Jeffrey Springs to the Tampa Bay Rays for $31,000,000 (4 year extension) and the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines. The 7:00 AM hour begins by previewing tonight's Tampa Bay Buccaneers & the Boston Bruins game, and that it is going to be an electric crowd. Then the guys talk about Bruce Arians being unhappy with Byron Leftwich being fired, and Pat explains that Bruce doesn't really have any place to care since he isn't the head coach anymore. Then the guys talk about the Ronald Acuña Jr. celebrating his homerun in his winter league game and debate what it would be like if the MLB had this. Pat & Aaron then talk about how it could definitely bring some excitement to the league that needs some! Then Aaron Jacobson asks Pat Donovan if he knows what Pickleball is, and what it would be like if they started a WDAE team. The guys then talk about some ideas of what they could do to create a new sport called "Goony Ball."
