The Pat & Aaron Show begins with the pure happiness from the guys that Fred McGriff made it into the hall of fame. They can't believe it took this long for him to make it into the hall of fame. Aaron talks about how he loved watching him in the 1990s, even though he brought him some heart breaking moments as a fan. Pat loves that he is a big proponent of Tampa Bay, and how loyal he is to the area. Then in the second break, Pat & Aaron break down tonight's Monday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. Aaron is not looking forward to it at all, but he also brings up that they will be leading the division if they lose or not. Pat does not believe that is the right attitude to have at all. Then it's Today's Top Headlines, and then it's an in-depth and passion discussion about the college football playoffs. The 7:00 AM hour begins with the news that USF Football hired Alex Golesh, and Pat & Aaron discuss their opinions on the hire. They also wonder why it wasn't Deion Sanders, despite reports from local Tampa Bay podcasters. Mike Schulze who is the Director of Communications & Sponsorships at ReliaQuest Bowl calls into the Pat & Aaron Show. He first talks about how crazy of a year it's been for the College Football season. Mike breaks down how great Illinois defense is, how good the running game is, and as a team overall.
