from The Pat & Aaron Show

The Pat & Aaron Show begins with the pure happiness from the guys that Fred McGriff made it into the hall of fame. They can't believe it took this long for him to make it into the hall of fame. Aaron talks about how he loved watching him in the 1990s, even though he brought him some heart breaking moments as a fan. Pat loves that he is a big proponent of Tampa Bay, and how loyal he is to the area. Then in the second break, Pat & Aaron break down tonight's Monday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. Aaron is not looking forward to it at all, but he also brings up that they will be leading the division if they lose or not. Pat does not believe that is the right attitude to have at all. Then it's Today's Top Headlines, and then it's an in-depth and passion discussion about the college football playoffs. The 7:00 AM hour begins with the news that USF Football hired Alex Golesh, and Pat & Aaron discuss their opinions on the hire. They also wonder why it wasn't Deion Sanders, despite reports from local Tampa Bay podcasters. Mike Schulze who is the Director of Communications & Sponsorships at ReliaQuest Bowl calls into the Pat & Aaron Show. He first talks about how crazy of a year it's been for the College Football season. Mike breaks down how great Illinois defense is, how good the running game is, and as a team overall. Then he explains State and how elite the passing game is, and that it is going to be a dynamic game. That and more during the interview! Listen at January 2nd, 2022 at 11:30 AM .on 95.3 WDAE/AM 620. Then the hour ends with Things I Like! The one and only Scott Reynolds from Pewter Report calls into The Pat & Aaron Show. He first talks about what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to do tonight to beat the New Orleans Saints. He then breaks down the 2 times the Bucs have beat the Saints recently. He explains that this game is important because you can still lose the division to the New Orleans Saints. Pat Donovan brings up the fact that the LA Rams are the first Super Bowl champions to have a losing season right after since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2000s. That and more in this week's segment. The 8:00 AM hour begins by Pat & Aaron breaking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game tonight on Monday Night Football against the Saints. Then Nick Wize calls in for College Football Rewind and he has a lot to say about Alabama Football not getting in. He also talks about USF Football and the hire of Alex Golesh, and how the lack of a stadium is hurting the Bulls. Then it's The Blender and then the wrap up.
