I don’t know about you, but I can’t remember the last time I was astonished by something Christ said or did – in Scripture or in my life. But I want to feel amazed again! How do I open myself to astonishment, awe, wonder? For Reflection: When was the last time you were astonished by Christ – by a story about Jesus or by a spiritual experience in your own life, or by something else? When was the last time you felt awe or wonder — at nature, at the presence of God in a person, a child, a loved one? What was that like, and what was God like in that experience? Maybe you could take a little time to linger with God to talk through all this and simply rest in God, who loves you just as you are.
