The Price you pay for being Outrageously yourself

I speak a lot about being yourself and I speak a lot about being outrageously choosing yourself, But what is the price do you pay for choosing yourself? And is it worth it? Like for me and people like me, when I put myself out there in the work that I do, like being at writing on LinkedIn or giving a speech or doing this podcast, I am 100% me. I'm talking personal things about my life. And it's all out there in public to comment, both positively and negatively. While one can handle positive comments, it's very, very difficult to handle a negative comment. Do I have to put myself through that, why would I have to be the torch bearer?
