The Push To End The Ukraine War

from The Fox News Rundown · host FOX News Podcasts

Last week, President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who agreed to begin high-level talks in Saudi Arabia to begin discussing a possible end to Russia's war on Ukraine. On Monday, several European countries called an emergency meeting in Paris to forge their own strategy. Former United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations and Former US Ambassador to NATO, Kurt Volker, joins to preview today's talks, explain why Ukraine isn't directly involved, and share the concerns of the European allies. The Department of Government Efficiency (known as DOGE) is turning its attention to the Pentagon this week. President Trump said he expects Musk’s DOGE to find billions of dollars of fraud and waste within the Pentagon. While Democratic and Republican lawmakers disagree on much, there is bipartisan consensus that major inefficiencies exist within our defense spending. FOX News Chief National Security correspondent Jennifer Griffin explains why DOGE must be careful and purposeful with their budget cuts when it affects our national security.  Plus, commentary from the host of “Tomi Lahren is Fearless on Outkick,” Tomi Lahren.
