Summary

You’re listening to the Tell Me Something Great Tuesday archives. The origin of this podcast was a series of YouTube videos. I’ve taken those videos, rough sound and all, and turned them into these episodes. This podcast has come a long way and it’s fun to listen to the progress and growth and to see the format transform and take shape. I hope you enjoy these archived episodes much as I enjoyed creating them. If you would like to check out the origin videos of these podcasts you can find them on my blog at DHH2.com/blog Thank you for listening and never forget, I LOVE YOU. My name is Dickson Hunley and this is another Tell Me Something Great Tuesday,  that one day of the week that you share what it is that is making you smile, what is making you happy and what you’re grateful for with someone else and ask them what it is that they are grateful for. I’m not going to let you go through this alone. I’m going to start us off. Are you ready to spread some happiness and gratitude as far as we can? Alright, let’s get in to it.  Today I’m grateful for achievement. You know that feeling you get when set a goal, work your ass off and reach that goal? That’s what I’m experiencing right now, and I am so grateful for it. I’m taking classes as well as working full time and I just wrapped up this semester with great grades. It was a lot of work and huge time commitment, but this feeling of achievement was worth all of the sacrifice.  When was the last time that you celebrated an achievement? If you’re like I used to be, it’s been a while. I used to think that you had to have some major event to celebrate an achievement. I’ll let you in on a secret. You don’t. You don’t have to win the Super Bowl or a Nobel Prize to take pride in an achievement. You can celebrate any win. Wanted to drop 10 pounds but only lost 3? You could be disappointed because you missed your goal or you could be excited that you are on your way to being healthier and celebrate. Maybe you wanted to read 3 books a month and only read two. Celebrate! Got a promotion? Celebrate! Beat your personal record mowing the lawn? Celebrate! Take time to be grateful for all of your accomplishments. Now it is your turn. Email us [email protected] tell me what your most recent accomplishment is and what it is that you are grateful for. Share this show with your friends so that they can share what it is that they are grateful for too. Let’s see how many people we can bring some joy to today.  That’s it for this week’s Tell Me Something Great Tuesday. Thank you so much for watching and listening. If you enjoy the show, please use the links provided to subscribe to our YouTube channel and podcast. Once you do you will get a new episode of Tell Me Something Great Tuesday delivered to you every week. Tell Me Something True with Mary Taylor

    Release Date: 01/17/2022

Description: Femininity (also called womanliness or girlishness) is a set of attributes, behaviors, and roles generally associated with women and girls. Although sociologists think of femininity as socially constructed, there is also widespread recognition that some behaviors considered feminine are influenced by both cultural factors and biological factors. To what extent femininity is biologically or socially influenced is subject to debate. It is distinct from the definition of the biological female sex, as both males and females can exhibit feminine traits. Traits traditionally cited as feminine include gracefulness, gentleness, empathy, humility, and sensitivity.
