The Revelation of Jesus Christ

The book of Revelation is not meant to be feared but understood as 'an unveiling' of Jesus Christ. Written by the Apostle John while exiled on Patmos around 95-96 AD, this final book of the Bible reveals Jesus' second coming—not as the humble lamb of His first arrival, but as the powerful Lion of Judah and King of kings. While Revelation does contain judgment and dramatic events, these are merely the background; the foreground is Jesus Himself. Christians should neither be paranoid about every possible sign nor ignorant of what Scripture teaches, but instead stay spiritually ready for Christ's return while focusing primarily on Him rather than end-time events.
