Misty Avinger, Sienna Ross, and Grace Wanebo have documented their 3 different election experiences: voting for the first time, being a New York poll worker, and watching the results live. Alina Naseer talks to New Yorkers about the meaning behind the new Medusa sculpture that was placed across the street from the criminal courthouse in lower Manhattan. A new pipeline is set to carry fracked gas under Brownsville, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint, ending at a National Grid Depot on Newton Creek. Opponents are calling to end the construction immediately, concerned for the safety of their communities and the nearly 200 million price tag for ratepayers. Izzy McMahon and Jack Peterson caught up with some protesters in Bushwick to hear their concerns. Women’s Marches happened across the country following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Sienna Ross attended a march in Washington DC and Grace Wanebo attend one in Manhattan. They both spoke to march attendees about the future for women's rights.
