The S&P/ASX200 on Friday shed 68 points or 0.9% to 7,273. The formula: Delta cases rise, markets fall. Tech took a 2.8% trim, Zip Co and Afterpay both down over 5%. And while the market fell from every angle, the travel sector surely deserves the most sympathy, the majors falling around 4%, although Webjet did manage to drop over 5%.
