The S&P/ASX200 posted a new record on Wednesday, gaining 29 points or 0.4% to 7,503 after hitting another intraday high before lunch. Cyclicals took charge on a day where investors held off ahead of the big reports. The energy names did well, as did real estate, although BWP Trust did give back 2.1% after almost tripling full-year distribution. But it was the Iron Triumvirate - BHP (2.4%), Rio Tinto (1.8%) and Fortescue Metals (0.7%) well assisted by Adbri (4.7%) - that dragged a lighter index higher.
