We are back with another short solo episode with your host, Natalie Rose!! Do you find networking intimidating? Are you struggling to meet people and present yourself professionally? Then this episode is for you…I share my personal journey and spill my secrets on how to master meeting new people. Learn how to conquer the daunting world of “networking”, and how the secret really is to not call it that. In this episode, I dive into my secret on cultivating meaningful connections, establishing organic trust with clients/employers, and recounting experiences landing my first major gigs in New York.  I talk about how I finessed my way into career roles just based off of being myself, my experience working with a major celebrity photographer, some of my favorite and most important people I’ve ever met started off with a simple hello. A simple hello can lead to a million things… Learn how to navigating the challenging realm of "networking" and why the real key is avoiding the term altogether.  If this episode doesn’t inspire you to put yourself out there, idk what will. Sun and Saddle Leather by Charles Badger Clark Loyal Books Cowboy Poetry began as a 19th Century Performance Art staged around a crackling campfire, referencing tall tales and personal stories, lost girlfriends, and love of the vast unboundaried West. It was best accompanied by a hot tin cup of boiled coffee, dunked biscuits, and beef jerky. The rhymed couplets were easy to remember, and once the day's drive was done, everybody had a few hours to listen to friends and wonder at the stars. Badger Clark gave voice and record to this unique American folk art, and built on it to express his own creative genius. He was declared the first Poet Laureate of South Dakota, or as he liked to say, “Poet Lariat.” Hot Takes Constance Durdin Hi it's Hot Takes and you've tuned in to a podcast where we talk about our hot takes on new and old fashion, trends and ideas.
